The Magic Ring II from DigitalFoto is a ring-style support for single-handgrip gimbals. It features a baseplate and comes with two quick release plates for attaching your gimbal. One of the quick release plates is a dedicated one with locking pins for the Zhiyun-Tech CRANE 3S/2S. The other plate comes with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting screws and supports virtually any single-grip gimbal.
A V-mount battery plate is included and can be attached to the bottom of the Magic Ring. The bottom part of the Magic Ring is designed curved up, so the battery plate and optional battery fit there without getting in the way of the stand feet of the Magic Ring. Two D-Tap adapters are supplied and connect to cables built into the tubes of the Magic Ring. The integrated cables interface with the V-mount battery plate to power the D-Tap adapters. And two D-Tap to DC cables are included, so you can run power from the D-Tap adapters to accessories.
A clamp-mount rosette adapter is included for attaching follow focus motors such as the Tilta Nucleus-N. You also get a top handle with a shoe mount for low-angle shooting. The included quick release baseplate can be secured on top of the V-mount battery plate to hold your gimbal in an upright position, or you can screw it in under the top handle to support your gimbal upside down.
The Magic Ring II is made of aluminum and features a 44 lb payload. Many of the different parts tighten and loosen via levers. For more compact travel in the provided case, the Magic Ring can be broken down into individual tubes.
